the new year has arrived and we said things has returned to regular rehearsals after a nice long holiday break. recording is moving along nicely and live performances will resume soon. courtney's hair is pretty short right now and michael's beard is pretty long. jon built himself a new garage and we have a lot more room in our rehearsal space, which is a good thing. the vocoder seems to be making its way into more and more of our songs, and our guitars are getting a bit lonely, as are jon's acoustic drums. our new favorite record is besnard lakes, but we can't stop returning to my cookie mountain or whistling along with peter bjorn and john either. go bears.
